Raising the Standard, Not Just the Roof
Most business owners talk about resilience. Few have had to prove it quite like Andrew Tonkin and Scott Johnson.
In 2019, after 30 years of operation, the founder of AAA Premier Roofing retired, selling the business to Andrew (then Construction Manager) and Scott (then Business Manager). They barely had time to settle into the driver's seat before COVID-19 disrupted the construction industry and created enormous uncertainty.
For many, this would have been a survival scenario. For Andrew and Scott, it became a catalyst to double down on operational discipline, customer relationships and continuous improvement.
Instead of contracting, they leaned into a strategy built on three core pillars: Commitment to customer relationships, Leading Technology to stay ahead of the curve, and a drive to deliver Exceptional work that stands the test of time.

Growing Futures Insight
Every business faces defining moments. The businesses that continue to grow are often those that keep investing in their people, systems and customer relationships, even when conditions are uncertain. AAA Premier Roofing’s journey is a great reminder that sustainable growth is built through consistent decisions over time, not overnight success.
Congratulations to Andrew, Scott and the entire AAA Premier Roofing team. It’s fantastic to see your business continuing to grow, take on increasingly complex projects and build an impressive future.
