We recently threw a little networking event at SPACES Adelaide. Nothing overly formal, just a hand-picked crew of clients, some sharp professionals from around the co-working space and a award-winning charcuterie board to set the tone.
Spoiler alert: it was brilliant.
With a tight-knit group of about 20 to 25 people, the mix just felt right. We had business owners mingling alongside key players from established businesses. The chat was interesting and the room was intimate enough that people could connect.
What stood out wasn’t just who showed up, but how they showed up. The vibe was relaxed and conversations moved pretty fast. People got real about where things are actually at — the good, the bad and the messy stuff in both business and life. It made for the kind of honest, useful discussions you rarely get.
For us, it’s a reminder that bringing the right people together is often where the best outcomes come from.
